Robin Padilla Leads Senate Race in Partial, Unofficial Count
Actor Robin Padilla took the early lead in the senatorial race in the May 9 elections, garnering over 12.49 million votes late Monday night according to Comelec's transparency server for the media.
Padilla ranked first in the partial and unofficial results of the senatorial race as of 10:32 p.m., based on 73.91% of election returns transmitted to the transparency server.
Antique Rep. Loren Legarda currently ranks second with 12.23 million votes while broadcaster Raffy Tulfo, who consistently topped various pre-election surveys for the senatorial race, came in third with 11.72 million votes.
