1,000 Volunteers in 20 Minutes: Robredo Revives Bayanihan E-Konsulta

With 1,000 volunteers in 20 minutes, former Vice President Leni Robredo said late Wednesday her Angat Buhay NGO has revived the Bayanihan E-Konsulta, her office's free teleconsultation service that was borne out of the pandemic.

Robredo said the signups proved that volunteerism lives, as she thanked those who signified their intention to help build Angat Buhay as the country's largest anti-poverty organization.

Bayanihan E-Konsulta ceased operations last May 31 as Robredo prepared to handover power to her successor, Vice President Sara Duterte.

Volunteers need to have their own laptops, smartphones and stable internet for the e-konsulta, said Robredo.
