Sharon Cuneta Ponders Second Lady Role, Says Don't Call Her 'Feeling'

Actress Sharon Cuneta on Saturday pondered over her role as "second lady" should her husband Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, win as vice president in the May 9 elections.

Don't call her "feeling" or presumptuous, the Megastar said, adding she had not fully thought of the role of a vice president's spouse.

"Narealize ko, magiging second lady ako," Cuneta said, adding actresses like her are often conscious whenever they are in front of TV and movie cameras as they could come off to audiences as "plastic" or inauthentic.

"Pag ako nasa rally, totoo sinasabi ko, nasa puso. Ang katakutan nyo po, at ingatan nyo, ay ang mga pulitiko na napakagaling na artista, mas magaling pa sa amin, yun ang hanapbuhay namin," she said.

"Sakaling manalo si Kiko asahan nyo po, I will be right behind him, embracing the role of your second mama. I will try my best, 'wag nyo lamang ipagkait sa kanya, sakali lang po, hindi ako feeling," she said.
