The constitutionalists including Bishop Teodoro Bacani and former Supreme Court Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr. said Robredo and Pangilinan embody the ideals of the Constitution that was borne out of the 1986 People Power Revolution.

"Vice President Leni Robredo's record of public service, as well as that of Senator Kiko Pangilinan, demostrate their competence, capabilities, and the qualities of servant leaders who can inspire generations of our people to bring our country to its greatness," the group said in a statement.

They also cited Robredo's advocacies as lawyer and economist to uplift the lives of those on the fringesof society.
