The Philippines on Friday received 15,000 doses of Russia's Sputnik V component 2 vaccine, which will be needed to fully immunize those who got the first jab.
Vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr. earlier said authorities would use AstraZeneca vaccines as second jab for individuals who received the component 1 of Sputnik V in case there would be delays in delivery.
So far, the Philippines received a total of 365,000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccines.
