2020 Won? The Canceled Year That Came Before 2021

The year unlike no other, 2020, is ending and the world is welcoming 2021 with nervous hope as the coronavirus lurks and mutates. You've probably seen the memes, read "2021" out loud, it sounds like 2020 won.

The virus turned humanity into mask-wearing hermits, unable to touch friends and family. Life may never return to the pre-pandemic world order but if there's one thing 2020 taught us, no matter how much reality mirrors sci-fi, we will find ways to survive, evolve and thrive.

Reportr was born out of the need to explain this new world we live in with a Gen Z lens and throughout the seemingly unending quarantine, there was no shortage of stories of hope and grit. Here are our 2020 yearenders:
