For those food cravings late into the night, restaurants in GCQ areas are now allowed to open 24 hours for dine-in, take out and delivery effective Oct. 3, the Department of Trade and Industry said Friday. Just be sure to check if your area imposes a curfew.
Barbershops and salons can also accept more customers, up to 75% capacity, the DTI said in revised guidelines. All services are allowed, except full body massage.
What's still banned under all forms of quarantine: beerhouses, cockpit arenas and kid amusement.
According to the DTI memorandum, restaurants and fast food can operate for "24 hours or as far as practicable."

Metro Manila is under GCQ, the second lowest quarantine, until Oct. 31. Also under GCQ: Batangas province and the cities of Tacloban, Iloilo, Bacolod and Iligan. The lowest quarantine, MGCQ, remains over the rest of the country, except Lanao del Sur which is under MECQ, the second highest.
