Fire broke out at the ABS-CBN compound on Tuesday morning, halting broadcast while employees fled the building, ABS-CBN News said.
Smoke was detected at the third floor of the main building around 7 a.m., ABS-CBN News said in a report.
ABS-CBN News anchor Jeff Canoy, who was hosting TeleRadyo's Sakto, apologized in a tweet as they cut short the morning show to evacuate after smoke alarms went off.
Mike Navallo, who was in the middle of an interview with the father of Indonesian death row prisoner Mary Jane Veloso, also cited the fire as reason to cut short their exchange short.
This is a developing story.
