Former ABS-CBN anchor Anthony Taberna and his long-time co-anchor Gerry Baja have found a new home on radio, DZRH. Taberna, Ka Tunying to his followers, also answered allegations that the duo took sides.
Interviewed by Noel Ferrer on Radyo Katipunan's Level Up, Taberna said: “Hindi kami DDS ni Gerry, unfair namang akusasyon yun!” He was referring to the moniker Duterte Diehard Supporters.
"We recognize yung mga nagagawa nila, pero kung napapanood lang ng mga tao kung paano namin upakan ang gobyernong ito sa kanilang kapalpakan, hindi nila iisipin iyan," Taberna said.

Taberna said that before his long stint at DZMM, he started at the Iglesia ni Cristo-owned Eagle Broadcasting Corp.
ABS-CBN Corp is shifting to digital after it was taken off the air on May 5 and its subsequent failure to secure a fresh franchise. Employees affected by a painful retrenchment program will be employed until Aug. 31.
Before Taberna, another ABS-CBN star anchor, Cathy Yang, announced her departure from cable news channel ANC and move to tycoon Manuel Pangilinan's PLDT Corp.
