Angel Locsin Endorses Robredo as Pasig Delivers Biggest Rally

She channels Darna to cheer Robredo on.

(UPDATE) Angel Locsin on Sunday channeled her superheroine character "Darna", expressing support for Vice President Leni Robredo's campaign for the presidency as she joined the presidential bet's biggest campaign rally so far in Pasig City.

Together with husband Neil Arce, whose hair was partly dyed yellow, Locsin held a placard that read: "Ma'am Leni, sa 'yo na ang bato."

The actress was also seen mingling with the crowd, as shown in photos uploaded by netizens on social media.

Robredo's campaign rally in Pasig City turned out to her biggest political gathering so far which, by 6 p.m., reached more than 90,000 people in attendance, her campaign team cited estimates from Pasig City police.

Last March 11, an estimated 70,000 people participated in Robredo's campaign rally in Bacolod City. She was also the most-searched presidential candidate on Google Trends that week, after the turnout in her campaign rallies.
