LOOK: Rose Garden Blooms in Baguio's Burnham Park

A Rose Garden in Baguio City's Burnham Park will open in March 2021, right in time for panagbenga or the season of blooming, its public information office announced Thursday.

Baguio is known for its annual Panagbenga Festival which occurs every February. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and the threat of a more contagious variant, the city's local government and festival organizers postponed the event to March.

According to a statement, officials are waiting for a vaccine for a safe conduct of festivities.
