LIST: Non-Working Holiday in These Cities for Marcos Inauguration

Some cities declared June 30 as a special non-working holiday for Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr's inauguration as 17th president of the Philippinwa

Marcos will take his oath at the National Museum in Manila on Thursday in a "solemn and simple" ceremony, his office said.

These cities declared June 30 a holiday:

City of Manila

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, whom Marcos defeated in the May 9 elections, said the non-working holiday give Manileños the opportunity to watch the oath-taking.

San Juan City

Mayor Francis Zamora said he declared a holiday for the convenience of residents and those working in the city who may be affected by road closures for the inauguration.

Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano also declared June 30 a special non-working holiday in the city.
