Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. will take his oath as the 17th president of the Philippines at the National Museum grounds, an incoming senior aide said Wednesday.
The inauguration will be held at noon on June 30, as mandated by the 1987 Constitution to mark the start of a new six-year term of a president.

The museum, where former presidents Manuel Quezon, Jose P. Laurel, and Manuel Roxas took their oath, was deemed a "suitable venue", Presidential Management Staff (PMS) Secretary-designate Zenaida "Naida" Angping was quoted in a statement.
His running mate, Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio, will be sworn into office in her hometown Davao City on June 19, according to organizers.
