Middleweight boxer Eumir Marcial ended his campaign at the Tokyo Olympics on Thursday with a bronze medal, securing the Philippines' best performance so far at the Summer Games.
Marcial lost the match to Ukraine's Oleksandr Khyzhniak.
Compatriots Hidilyn Diaz and Nesthy Petecio won gold and silver and weightlifting and boxing, respectively. Fellow boxer Carlo Paalam advanced to the finals earlier in the day.
