Cebu Pacific Offers Rebooking, Travel Fund to Those Hit by Extended MECQ

Passengers have two options.

Cebu Pacific on Wednesday said it would only operate flights for essential travel as MECQ in the capital region is extended until Sept. 15.

Passengers who want to postpone their travel until the end of MECQ can cancel their flight two hours before departure, which can be done on the Cebu Pacific website.

Rebook

Passengers can rebook for travel within 60 days at no additional cost. Fare difference will be waived.

Travel fund

The amount paid can be stored in your Cebu Pacific wallet valid for two years. The fund can be used to book a new flight or pay for add-ons such as bag allowance and seat selection.

Passengers are advised to check travel requirements prior to going to the airport. Safety protocols and health standards will be followed in airports and aboard planes for those flying out on work and emergency flights.
