From delivering food to supermarket errands, delivery riders have been keeping the economy running since the pandemic began last year. And to pay tribute to their important work, Grab launched a month-long new feature on GrabMart allowing customers to order groceries for the delivery service's riders.
"In the same spirit, the new GrabMart initiative specifically honors delivery-partners. They are among the many frontliners who risk their safety by leaving their homes, to provide necessary service for the benefit of others," Grab said.
Through the "Groceries for Your Rider" feature of GrabMart, customers can order groceries for themselves and their riders from stores such as Robinsons Supermarket, Shopwise, WalterMart, pharmacies, and convenience stores such as Ministop, Watsons, or Generika Drugstore.
The feature is available under GrabMart in the Grab app and can be done until May 31 based on the notice on the app.
