The Philippines will deliver COVID-19 vaccines to the Visayas and Mindanao in the first week of March after the first jabs were administered officially on Monday, officials said.

The Sinovac vaccines will be sent to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City on March 3 and the Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City by March 5, said Sec. Carlito Galvez, the country's vaccine czar.

Should there be enough, vaccines could also be shipped to Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Baguio, he said.
