The Department of Education on Tuesday adjusted the academic calendar for public schools nationwide to accommodate learning gaps during the pandemic. The fourth quarter grading period will last until July 10.

In DepEd's Order No. 30, schools were required hold remediation activities based on the unique needs of learners from Mar. 1 to 12. A two-week home learning plan will be prepared by teachers.

Teachers will then attend a professional development program from Mar. 15 to 19 through In-Service Training organized by the school or other DepEd units.
