The Department of Tourism on Saturday released a new advertisement featuring dancers depicting some of the Philippines' best tourist attractions to show that it's the people who "make the destination."
The two-minute video veered away from the traditional drone shots to capture tourist destinations and instead used a choreographed dance sequence to show the famous Mayon Volcano, Chocolate Hills, Intramuros, among other attractions.
"We want to show how, almost literally, it’s the people who make the destination. We recognize the people who have always made our destinations more memorable and more fun—our tourism workers," said Tourism Sec. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat.
