Cyclists, You Can Help Gov't Plan the Country's Bike Lane Network

With public transport subject to quarantine rules, many have turned to biking to get around. In order to address cyclists' concerns, the transportation department is holding a survey in preparation for the bike lane networks in metropolitan areas.

The survey covers Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao, as stated in the Department of Transportation's Facebook post.

Interconnectivity is the goal. Bikers are encouraged to provide insights on how to make residential areas, mixed-used areas, business districts, industrial areas, national government agencies, city halls, medical facilities, academic facilities, and public transport facilities come together with bike routes.

The survey can be accessed on Google Forms and will take only 5 minutes. Privacy and anonymity of participants are ensured.
