The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has placed bicycle lanes along major streets in Metro Manila to protect the increasing number of cyclists, particularly healthcare workers biking to work during the general community quarantine.
The Department of Transportation said a bike lane network in the metro would cost P1.04 billion, which could come from the Bayanihan 2 bill. Bike racks have also been installed in train stations, while the EDSA Bike Lane recently opened.
