President Rodrigo Duterte will be staying longer in Davao City.

On PTV4's Twitter feed, Spokesperson Harry Roque  said Duterte will be holding another cabinet meeting with select members of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases in Davao on Monday, August 24, 2020.

Attendees are required to take a COVID-19 swab test prior to the meeting. Roque took his swab test on August 22, and tested negative.

The President has been in his hometown since August 3.

Malacañang announced on August 17 that he is in "perpetual isolation," and has been taking real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) swab tests on a regular basis.

Anyone meeting with the President goes through strict health protocols being implemented by  the Presidential Security Group (PSG).  Visitors must also test negative, and stand six meters away from him.

The President's public engagements have been minimized as well to lessen the possibility of contacting the virus.
