Heads up motorists: U-turn slots near the Quezon City Academy and Dario bridge were reopened Friday morning to alleviate the heavy traffic this holiday season.

Earlier this year, the MMDA closed several U-turn slots along EDSA to make way for the EDSA Carousel bus system. More were scheduled for closure, but have since been postponed to 2021.

Only light vehicles can pass via the QCA U-turn, while only emergency and marked government vehicles can take the U-turn at Dario bridge.

The Quezon City Task Force on Traffic Management and Task Force Disiplina will implement a stop-and-go scheme for turning vehicles and for the EDSA Carousel buses.
