Former Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia dropped by Vice President Leni Robredo's office to give her a vinyl copy of the legendary pop band's debut album, "Ultraelectromagenticpop", photos from Robredo's office released late Thursday showed.

Buendia went viral earlier this year for replying to a fan tweet that the E-heads could reunite again if Robredo would run. Well, the Vice President is running for president in 2022 and was decked out in her campaign color, pink, during her meeting with Buendia.

There was no mention of an Eraserheads reunion in Robredo's post, but she said her staff are huge fans of the E-heads, who for decades have kept fans engaged, most recently when Buendia discussed the meanings of their hits like "Spoliarium" and "Minsan" in the context of how deep the bandmates' friendship was.

While Robredo received Buendia, the plot thickened in her rivals' camp. Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is tipped to run for president or vice president as a substitute before the Nov. 15 deadline.
