Tropical depression Emong has left the Philippine area of responsibility on Tuesday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Emong, the fifth storom of 2021, left the country at 9 a.m. and was spotted headed towards southeastern China. All tropical cyclone warning signals in the Philippines were already lifted as of Tuesday morning.

While Emong is no longer directly affecting the country, PAGASA warned small boats in the seaboards of Batanes and Cagayan, including Babuyan Islands, to take precautionary measures when venturing to sea.
