Online classes and home-based businesses that use the internet can operate as "normal" even during PLDT Inc's scheduled maintenance, which was also shortened compared to an earlier advisory, the telco said late Thursday.

It will start at 9 a.m. Saturday, instead of 8 a.m. Friday. It will end by 5 a.m. on Sept. 30, Wednesday, PLDT said. Alternatives have been found for the undersea cable that will undergo maintenance works during the said period, it said.
