Category is: pretty fly. RuPaul, who brought drag culture to the wold stage with his eponymous reality show, has a new achievement -- having an animal species named after her.

Scientists in Australia have named a soldier fly with irridescent green and blue colors after the host of "RuPaul's Drag Race" (RuPaul Charles in real life). The insect, like Mama Ru, is dressed for the runway.

Opaluma rupaul also packs a distinctive thorn in its belly, Australia's national science agency said.
