Broadcaster Raffy Tulfo, actor Robin Padilla, and television host Willie Revillame are among those being considered by President Rodrigo Duterte to be part of the senatorial lineup that he will endorse in the 2022 elections, a PDP-Laban official said Wednesday.

The 76-year-old Duterte will personally campaign for his Senate slate, said the Visayas vice president of his PDP-Laban Party, Eastern Samar Gov. Ben Evardone.

The Senate ticket will include relectionists, returning senators, Cabinet members and prominent personalities, Evardone told reportr.

  • DPWH Sec. Mark Villar
  • Chief Presidential Legal Adviser Salvador Panelo
  • Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque

  • Labor Sec. Silvestre Bello III
  • Cabinet Sec. Karlo Nograles
  • DICT Sec. Gringo Honasan

Evardone said among the considerations in selecting the potential senatorial bets of the President are their "track record in public service, integrity, competence and their unselfish commitment to serve the poor and less fortunate."

"But nothing is final yet. The vetting and consultations are continuing," he added.

Legarda, Zubiri, and Ejercito earlier said they were considering running for senators in the upcoming elections.
