These banks have extended free transfers using the Bangko Sentral's InstaPay and PesoNet facilities until early 2021.
InstaPay transactions are credited instantly and are for transaction amounts no more than P50,000 while PesoNet transfers are for those higher than P50,000 and require a couple of days clearing time depending on the bank.
The BSP has waived fees for InstaPay and PesoNet until 2021, the Philippine Star reported. The charges were waived this year to help the public cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.
