GCash reassured its millions of users that their funds are safe, following an unscheduled downtime Monday that left the mobile wallet app inaccessible to some users.

Some users on Android phones were able to access the app after a certain period, but were once again greeted with a maintenance advisory some time later. Up until last night, the app was unavailable to several users.
