Globe and Smart are doing their part to help victims of Typhoon Ulysses by offering call and text promos to subscribers affected by floods and power outages.
As of Friday, several areas are still without electricity as floods triggered by the typhoon have yet to fully recede.
Globe, in a text advisory to postpaid users, said subscribers can avail of continuous mobile service regardless of account payment status until Nov. 18.
Smart meanwhile said it is offering free calls, free wi-fi, and free charging to select typhoon-hit communities.
Ulysses left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday morning. At least 14 people were reported dead during the onslaught of the storm but numbers could go up as authorities deal with the aftermath.
