Starting April 27, Google will be bringing back an interactive Google Doodle game from their archives per day over the next two weeks on their Google Doodle page, as people around the globe are staying put at home.
The first to make a comeback was a Google Doodle released on December 14, 2017—an interactive game called Coding for Carrots, which commemorates 50 years since kids programming languages were introduced to the world. In the game, you program and help a block-shaped rabbit gather its favorite food by snapping together coding blocks.
For today, April 28, they've rolled out another Doodle game called Cricket, which celebrates the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. Said to be Google's smallest interactive Doodle ever, it's basically a cricket game where you play as an actual, well, cricket. The Doodle was first released on June 1, 2017.
What’s great about these games is that they’re fun and with just the right amount of difficulty that you feel challenged enough to keep playing without it taking hours to finish. With everything else that’s going on in the world, a few minutes of a dopamine rush sure won’t hurt anyone.
