The Commission on Elections has partnered with SM Supermalls to set up satellite voter registration sites in select malls nationwide to make sign ups for the 2022 elections more accessible to the public.
As early as Aug. 27, voter registration has started in some SM Supermall branches, which will continue until the Sept. 30 deadline.
Here are the schedules for voter registration in SM Supermalls
The Comelec reminded the public that only applications from residents of the locality where the mall is located, or from those planning to transfer their record to the same locality, will be accommodated.
While application forms may be availed for free at the registration booths, they can also be downloaded from the Comelec website or accomplished through irehistro.comelec.gov.ph.
For forms filled out through the Comelec mobile registration app, applicants only need to present the QR code when they visit the booths.
Voter registration activities resumed in areas under MECQ on Sept. 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays, including holidays.
Apart from SM Supermalls, applicants may also register in select Robinsons Malls and Ayala Malls nationwide.
