Most employees prefer a hybrid setup or a mix of office and work-from-home arrangements, a survey of human resource professionals showed, as companies increasingly call their workers back to the office.

Some 65% of HR professionals in the Philippines said their employees prefer hybrid work, noting that work setups can be a deciding factor for jobseekers and employees according to the 2022 State of HR Report by Sprout Solutions.

"HR leaders and professionals recognize that employees prefer a hybrid work setup and that offering this flexibility can be a key deciding factor for employees and job seekers. HR teams understand their vital role in making this new environment work for everyone," the report read.

"Just as important to leaders, however, is the need to provide more tangible benefits and services to employees, with health resources addressing their well-being and company-wide allowances addressing the new needs and challenges that come with the hybrid work setup," the report read.
