Offering the signature IKEA experience is the goal of the brand's every employee, as highlighted in the second episode of Pinoys of IKEA.
While construction of IKEA's largest store ever is still underway, there’s no denying that all the preparations are done systematically. Design Manager Roy shares that every floor has a conveyor belt to transport goods.
The building has seven floors, and IKEA is housed on five of them. Customer experience begins at the second floor, and moves up to the fourth floor, which will soon feature the brand's famous showrooms. “Makikita niyo na ‘yong different styles,” says Retail Fitout Manager Frank.
“You can physically try our products. You can stay there, spend time with our room settings just to appreciate the quality and the design of our range,” he said. The fifth floor houses a 14,000sqm warehouse.
Recently, the team also toured the Ambassador of Sweden to the Philippines Harald Fries, and his wife, Susan, around the facility, which also gave us glimpses of the other parts of the building.
