Checkout and delivery via the IKEA Philippines website is now available to Filipinos with a list of shipping prices and pick-up fees.
Earlier in September, the IKEA website was updated with a digital catalogue and price tags in Philippine peso, which permitted users to keep track of the items they want to checkout once delivery is available.
As of Thursday, 6 p.m., users can add furniture and decor to cart. Checkout seems to be limited per day.
Parcel delivery for Metro Manila starts at P170 which is good for up to 3 kilos while truck delivery for bigger items starts at P550. Parcels can be dispatched 3 days after order, while truck delivery items may take up to 5 days after order.
Prices for parcel delivery can go up to P450 and truck delivery can go up to P2,100 depending on your area.
Best to take note of which floor you're on too. Drop-off at the first or second floor is free but having your parcel transported to higher floors will come with extra fees, depending on how many people it takes to bring it up.
If you prefer checking out online and picking it up yourself, IKEA also lets you collect your items at several locations. Click and collect for Metro Manila starts at P400, while those in Pampanga need to pay up to P900. Pick-up at Cebu is available for P3,200.
Orders for pick-up must be collected within 5 days of notification. Late pick-up will incur fees per day.
Pandemic restrictions may also affect delivery times speed.
IKEA is set to open its physical store in the last quarter of 2021 after its online website launch. The big blue box will be home to a warehouse, floors displaying furniture and decor inspo, a restaurant, and a play area for kids.
