Ilocos Norte Under MECQ Until Sept. 30

The province of Ilocos Norte will be under the stricter MECQ until Sept. 30, Malacañang said Tuesday, a revision of its earlier announcement.

The MECQ is effective Tuesday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said. Initially, Malacañang announced that Ilocos Norte will be under GCQ with heightened restrictions from Sept. 7 to 30.
