Can You Go Back to Work During MECQ?

Will you be allowed to head back to the office during modified enhanced community quarantine? 

Malacañang Palace announced on May 13 which industries and sectors are allowed to operate under MEC! from May 16 to 31.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque listed down which business can open during MECQ.

Those marked green, or allowed full operations, must follow health guidelines. Those marked yellow, or allowed partial operations, are permitted to operate 50% maximum capacity on-site, and 50% minimum capacity for work-from-home arrangements.

Public transportation is still not allowed under modified ECQ.

Some industries and services are still prohibited no matter what form of quarantine an area is under. These include gyms, personal care services like waxing and massages, tourist destinations, travel agencies, and entertainment-related activities like going to the cinema and watching plays.

On May 12, Roque announced that Metro Manila, Laguna, and Cebu City will shift to modified ECQ starting May 16 until May 31.
