Instagram, used by 1 billion people worldwide, on Thursday suffered an outage for reasons yet unknown.
Users from all over the world who are unable to access the Facebook-owned platform turned to Twitter for answers. Some noticed they were unable to send direct messages, while others struggled to upload a post via feed and Instagram stories.
No official statement has been released by the platform yet to explain the incident.
