It was "I Love You Sabado" on Twitter Saturday as Jollibee trended with support from fans who refuse to define the Philippines' largest fastfood operator based on a viral deep fried towel that masqueraded as Chickenjoy.

For kids of the 90s, "I Love You Sabado" is the commercial that had them asking their parents to bring them to Jollibee on Saturday mornings for spaghetti, burgers and of course -- Chickenjoy, the star of its menu.

Proud crew members, both past and present, posted selfies in uniform, declaring their support for Jollibee, who had a tough week. The branch in BGC where the deep fried towel was ordered via Grab was closed for three days to give way to an investigation. Stars and fan pages of Jollibee endorsers also declared their support.

"Jollibee is a respected company. Dekada po ito doing business. Maayos naman pamamalakad ng Jollibee. Minsan, hindi mo naman pwede i-asa lahata ng gusto mong mangyari sa iyong tauha. Kailangan bantayan mo talaga," he said.
