ABS-CBN anchor Karen Davila on Friday said she and her family tested positive for the coronavirus after a Boracay trip during the holidays.

Davila, who has been missing on TV Patrol, said her youngest son Luke was the first to test positive. She said her family was recovering well.

"I think it's the perfect opportunity for me to also share with the public as I was seeing that clip that my own family tested positive for COVID. We are COVID-positive after we arrived from the holidays this coming New Year," Davila said on ANC.

"I just felt fatigue and I thought it was because I was on vacation, taking care of the kids," she said. Davila said she and her son received COVID-19 booster shots.

Her family went to Boracay for the New Year, with get togethers with celebrities like Iza Calzado, Kylie Verzosa and Tim Yap.
