Kris Aquino endorsed Leni Robredo for president during a campaign rally in her home province of Tarlac late Wednesday, saying that like her brother, the late President Noynoy Aquino, the only woman in the presidential race would not steal from public coffers.

Vice President Robredo, like the late former president is for "matuwid na daan (straight and narrow path)", Kris said, with her sisters Ballsy, Pinky, and Viel also attending the rally.

"I'm going and nobody can stop me," the youngest of the Aquino sisters told an estimated 50,000 people clad in pink. Health troubles has largely kept her out of the public eye save for occassional updates on Instagram.

Kris said her brother once wrote to Robredo to say that the vice president has the "sincerity at 'yung ability na unahin ang mga tao bago sarili.

"Alam n'yo po, nung nabasa ko 'yun, sinabi ko sa sarili ko, 'You have to fight for her dahil sa kanya bilib si Noy.'"

A solo parent like Robredo, Kris praised the Vice President for raising her three daughters well -- Aika, Tricia and Jillian.

Kris also paid tribute to Robredo's late husband, Jesse, whom she said took care of her during her brother's presidential campaign.

"I said, for my dad, the Filipino is worth dying for. Para po sa akin, ang umapak dito sa Tarlac is worth all the risk dahil kailangan ko pong magpasalamat. Hindi n'yo kami iniwan, hindi n'yo kami pinabayaan."

Kris thanked those who wished for her healing. "Of course para sa inyo, para sa kanilang dalawa (Josh and Bimby) at para doon sa mga excited na mamatay ako, siyempre lalaban."

Ipaglaban po natin ang ating karapatan na never nang bumalik ang diktadura," she said.
