Vice President Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan embody the real definition of unity, not their rivals, priests and church members said in an endorsement video posted Sunday.
Real unity is in helping uplift the lives of fellow Filipinos in all sectors, the kind of unity that gives light in dark times, said the group led by Archbishop Socrates Villegas in a Facebook video.

It's not unity if corrupt politicians are teaming up to maintain their grip on power, they said, without naming anyone.
The son of late dictator Bongbong Marcos and President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter Sara are running together for the two highest positions in the country, preaching unity under their tandem dubbed "UniTeam".
The pair is endorsed by former presidents Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Fidel Ramos, and Joseph Estrada.
