Vice President Leni Robredo got "love, love, love" from Kris Aquino and son Joshua when she visited Tarlac province affirming the clan's support for her presidential candidacy.

Robredo thanked Aquino for her "100% support". Josh Aquino handed the balloons with her mother's signature line and gave the Vice President an elbow bump.

"Let me just thank Josh for surprising me with a welcome balloon when I arrived at the DIWA Center for an event. He is a Tarlac resident already," she said in a Facebook post.

"Thank you also, Kris, for the 100% support. PNoy may be gone now but Josh being there really meant a lot," she added, referring to the late President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III.

Of all four remaining daughters of Cory and Ninoy Aquino, Kris is the most outspoken, priming her to follow in their footsteps, analysts say. She, however, is not running for office in 2022.

Her endorsement of a candidate would still be of value, Casiple said. If history will be the basis, the Aquinos have always come out politically stronger after deaths in the family.

"What's clear is that someone has to continue the family legacy. Someone has to take on the political mantle, not necessarily run for president but be present," he said.
