'Exclamation Point': Leni Robredo Steps Down Still With Highest COA Rating

Leni Robredo said on her penultimate day as vice president on Wednesday said her office received the highest rating from the Commission on Audit for fourth straight year, affirming her push for good governance.

Robredo said the Office of the Vice President was granted an "unqualified opinion" by the COA, the highest possible score.

"What a fitting exclamation point to our 6 years at the OVP," she said on Twitter.

The Office of the Vice President also received the best COA rating in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

For the first two years of the OVP under Robredo, COA's audit underspending and delays in liquidation which accounts in part for the transition from her predecessor, Jejomar Binay.
