Quarantine passes are required in these Metro Manila cities for those who need to step out for essentials but are not considered APOR during the 15-day ECQ that starts Aug. 6.
While the general policy of for the return of quarantine passes, mayors and local officials will decide how to implement this, whether new ones will be issued or old ones will do.
Here are the official announcements so far on quarantine passes during the August 2021 ECQ:
Quezon City
- One per household, preferably to a fully-vaccinated individual or non-APOR (authorized persons outside of residence)
Valenzuela City
- Old quarantine passes will not be honored
Manila
- Old quarantine passes may be used, following an odd-even scheme: quarantine passes ending in odd numbers (1,3,5,7,9) will be allowed to go outside on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. only on Sundays; quarantine passes ending in even numbers (2,4,6,8,0) will be allowed to go outside on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. only on Sundays.
Navotas City
- Old quarantine passes may be used
- Those who lost their old quarantine passes may ask for a new one from the barangay
San Juan
- One quarantine pass per household
