Vice president-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio takes her oath in Davao City on Sunday, 11 days before she officially takes her post as the second highest government official in the country.

The daughter of outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte, who will officially start her term on June 30, scheduled her inauguration at an earlier date so that she could attend the oath-taking of President-elect Bongbong Marcos.

Among those expected to attend Duterte-Carpio's inauguration are Duterte and Marcos themselves, former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and her friends and family.

The inauguration ceremony will take place at San Pedro Square in Davao City, and will be followed by a thanksgiving concert to be headlined by artists and celebrities who supported Duterte-Carpio in her vice presidential campaign.
