Popular Filipino vlogger Lloyd Cadena, who attracted five million subscribers on YouTube with his funny posts on everyday life, has passed away, his official Facebook page confirmed on Friday. An outpouring of grief followed from fans and fellow influencers.
"It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved brother Lloyd Cafe Cadena," the statement read without specifying the cause of his death.
"May he be remembered for all the joy and laughter he shared with everyone. My family and I ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time."
The social media personality and book author is also known for his online challenges, pranks, song covers, unboxing videos, hauls, parodies, and collaboration videos with fellow content creators.
Lloyd Cafe Cadena has 6.5 and 1.4 million followers on Facebook and Twitter, respectively.
