The Philippine outpost of Swedish furniture brand IKEA just received its first shipment of items in Pasay City ahead of its physical store's opening slated for the fourth quarter of 2021.
"Today, IKEA Philippines celebrates an important milestone! Our first batch of IKEA range has finally arrived in IKEA Pasay City. We can’t wait to unbox these and make them available to the many Filipinos," according to an announcement on the official IKEA Philippines Facebook page.

Dubbed the "largest blue box in the universe," IKEA's Philippine store is said to be the biggest branch in the world, with an e-commerce site set to launch some time before the physical store opening.
Aside from the usual furniture and home goods, the branch will also have a play area for kids and carry food items such as its famous meatballs.
