Eight days ahead of target, Manila's COVID-19 Field Hospital is set to be inaugurated on Friday, June 11.

Located within Rizal Park, the 336-bed capacity hospital built from used shipping containers formally started its construction last April 20 as a 60-day project in response to the surge in COVID-19 cases then in the metro.

Operations of the hospital will not be limited to residents of Manila City, Mayor Isko Moreno had said.

As seen in the following photos, workers have started arranging beds in preparation for its inauguration on Friday.
